return to home front

YOU GOT IT! When I found out that my friend Grace was going to join karate, I said "Hey, don't leave me out!  I'm going with you!"

Joining karate was a very hard thing for me to do, but I  felt I had to do it.  Karate has done a lot for me personally.   And, it's good to give back to our students now.

The HCK Amigas.. first Hispanics to earn their black belts in hck karate. TRAIL BLAIZERS   Grace and Margie are my sisters by choice, and friends that will be around for a lifetime  We supported each other through karate, now we are here for each other no matter what.  We were known as the 3amigas in our previous karate school; now we are known as 3strong women.

Black Belt Memories

FIGHT NIGHT

The best part of the of Fight Night is getting to spar with the Head Instructor. He goes easy but, if we stop fighting then it's JAB! SLAM! POW! And all you can hear is "Come on kick , punch, BREATH!

GROIN SHOT...

The Huddle

The last fight of the night and our energy has been depleted. Then the Head Instructor calls us into a huddle and he tell us..... [That's how important it was... I can't even remember ]

I have learned  a lot about myself through the martial arts,

 and have  met people that have touched my life.

I have made friends that will last a life time.
