I was just shy of six years old when my mom joined karate; after dragging my sister and I to her classes she decided it was time for us to participate instead of watching. I went through my junior ranks receiving my red belt ("junior black belt") then joined the adult class receiving my black belt in 2003. It was an experience of a life time. It taught me commitment and gave me courage to do the things I thought I would never do. |

The one thing I enjoy about karate is teaching. I love to watch my students learn new techniques. I enjoy challenging my students so that they can go beyond their own expectations. It's just a lot of fun watching them grow.
I am a college student studying for my degree in Fine Arts. When I'm not working, going to school, or in Karate I love video editing and taking photographs. :o) Currently I am the co-instructor at Lock Hill Elem. It is a blast and I enjoy the challenge. | ![]() |
