In February 2008 Ms. Morato and I were invited to the Dia De La Mujer Conference sponsored by Michigan State University. We took part as speakers and instructors of a self defense workshop.
During the conference luncheon a member of the Maranatha church invited us to teach self-defense to the youth group, and we could not decline.
The experience was a blast and for two women used to the Texas heat, the experience of snow was an exciting one!
